Recipe of the Week - Turkey Wraps

 wraps

I literally just looked up at the calender and gasped.

It's August 1st. WOW seriously already? I can't believe that! August is the month that reminds me that summer is coming to a close. It's usually the warmest, and best summer month before fall and school settle in. As much as I love summer, I'm really excited for this coming fall and winter. I guess I just love that chill air, holidays, and the cozyness that comes with all of it.

For me August 1st means a chance to crack down hard on my fitness goals and finish my summer with a bang! So if you feel like you've totally failed to do anything right this summer, take today as another chance for you to make a comeback! Start now and focus every single day this month and commit yourself to some self-disipline!

Watch this motivational video, this is what I would say to you right now!

So today I wanted to post this awesome recipe to give some of you peeps out there an idea of what a healthy low-calorie diet can be like - tasty and easy! I can't remember where I found this recipe, but I know that it orinally came from one of Rachel Ray's recipes.

What you'll need: (i forgot to put the spinach in this photo!)

Turkey Wrap Ingredients:

• Lean Turkey Deli Meat

• 1 cube Laughing Cow Cream Cheese (it's low calorie cream cheese that's delicious! You can find it at walmart)

• 1 Whole Wheat Tortilla

• 1/2 cucumber chopped

• Handful of Spinach (I added this ingredient because it makes it totally nutritious!)

All you need to do is chop up the cucumber into small pieces, spread the cream cheese on the tortilla, and put everything inside & wrap it up and eat! It makes for the perfect lunch and you can pack it too!

So try this recipe out and tell me how you like it! Let's make this month rock!! Get out there and conquer your goals!! whoo!!! xoxoxo!
